This Macabeu from old vines in northern Priorat presents a radiant amber color. The nose opens with sweet white flowers, elderflower, and fresh honey, gradually revealing deeper layers with time in the glass. White fruit notes evolve into an autumnal symphony of dried leaves, acorns, tree bark, and candied apple, framed by subtle mineral undertones and hints of fresh honey.
On the palate, it is broad and silky, with a creamy mouthfeel thanks to 6 months of aging on the lees. Aging in 225-liter oak barrels for 18 months imparts soft vanilla aromas and long, smooth tannins. The finish is gentle and perfectly balanced, with just the right tension between acidity and tannin.
